Hi Z Vex. I really dig your pedals have a few of your hand painted ones including a Box of Rock, Fuzz Factory, Super Hard On.
I just bought the SHO and I must say its an amazingly kick ass boost pedal.
But I have a question.
When I begin to plug the input cable into the SHO the LED blinks on at the first point of contact resistance. Then when the cable is fully inserted in it goes off.
None of the other pedals do this and I was just wondering if this is normal for the SHO or if my pedal is just a bit quirky.
It also has a very small amount of random silver/white paint on the side of it. At first I thought it was a used pedal with small chips but the more I looked I noticed it was excess paint.
That's it, what do you think?
Also, the dealer I bought it off of is sold out, if I wanted to exchange it because of the paint issue, what should I do? |

The SHO uses a different LED switching system from the rest of my pedals. The Super-Duper shares this switching system.
If you're unsatisfied with the paint quality of the pedal, please return it to the dealer immediately. All of the hand-painted pedals we make are just that... hand-painted, so there may be slight flaws or little blemishes or random things that show up. If you're not happy with the look of your pedal the best thing to do is immediately return it to the dealer so the dealer can contact us about it. _________________ WARNING TO EMAILERS! Hi Zvex, I have sent the pedal back for a refund to proguitarshop.com.
Since last posting here on your site the sound started cutting out on my pedal in bypass mode. My extremely uneducated opinion is that something is loose in there.
I've only been without it for a couple hours and I miss having it. The pedal does what it does and it does it well. I'm definitely going to be buying another SHO. |

Hey Zack, no worries man. If I was even a novice DIY'er I could probably fix this but I just play the pedals man. Unfortunately I solder like a three year old so I have to resort to exchanging it.
Keep rockin' |
