Hello,
I just joined the forums after purchasing my first Zvex pedal, the Machine.
Anyway, after a few disappointing results, I've been able to tune up a great lead sound (great in terms of maximum impact and crazy residuals accompanying the tone), using a Boss SD-1 in front of the Machine. I'm fueling this into the clean channel on a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and a 1960B Marshall.
Max out the input and adjust the gate to about 11o'clock (or that sweet spot where you get the modified sound and almost no direct signal). If need be, use a booster pedal after the machine because the sweet spot on the machine (at least to me) sounds very low in volume even with the output adjusted.
Anyway, has anyone had similar experiences using a SD-1 with the machine? |

At this point, I am quite certain that a recent SD-1 update has caused this problem.
