Big fan of ZVEX products and the SHO is a critical part of my effects chain.
Right now I have a Fender Champion 600 reissue that I plan on converting to the 5C1 specs. This means the pre amp tube will be a 6SJ7 tube with a grid leak bias. I am not very technical, but from some of what I have read on the web, some folks claim that 5C1 Champs don't like effects that boost the signal coming in.
Any thoughts on this?
I use this combination SHO -> EH LPB1 -> amp now to make the 600 overdrive beautifully. |

Why change something if it's beautiful?
I don't know anything about this particular mod. Sorry, I'm no help here. _________________ WARNING TO EMAILERS!
